"Food was really tasty! Older cafe it feels pretty clean. Food was fast, service was great. Definitely a local gem!"

- Savannah L.

"When my wife and I were getting ready to move to Kenmore we drove past Jay's several times, wondering if it was still operating or not! Oh boy, is it ever! We finally got to go to breakfast there the other day and were not disappointed. My wife's blueberry pancakes were spot-on, and my Breakfast Sampler was a bargain at $14. Sure, the $1 hollandaise tasted like ... well, $1 hollandaise ... lol! But every other element of the dish was really good! We'll be back - very soon!"

- Tim E.

"Very friendly staff, food came out quick. Could use a little improvement on food quality but was still delicious. Good price point for their meals, would recommend to others and most likely will come back for more."

- ben e.

"This little gem is a great spot for delicious food and great service for a reasonable price. They have an awesome kid's menu, too. We love bringing our out-of-town guests here."

"A Local Gem in Kenmore! Jay Cafe is a charming, long-standing spot in the Kenmore area, and it truly lives up to its reputation. I came in for breakfast and was blown away by their French toast -- it was delicious, perfectly golden, and had just the right balance of sweetness. You can tell they put care into their food, and the portions are generous for the price. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, giving you that cozy, neighborhood feel. The staff are friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. One added bonus is the spacious parking lot behind the cafe -- it's very convenient and makes the visit even more stress-free. It's clear why this place has remained a favorite in the community for so long. I'll definitely be back!"

"Jay's is the best casual service Cafe in western Wa. 10/10 service every time. Jay's food is classic comfort food. Exceptional breakfast, but I've never had a bad meal for lunch or dinner."

- Tracy C.

"I've frequented this place more times than I can count over the last 10 years. It has that classic American morning diner feel and a friendly staff to match. Food isn't out of this world, but honestly-- it's exactly what you would expect. It always peacefully busy in the morning no matter what day of the week, yet the wait staff is always able to seat us in a timely manner regardless. I have three kids and two of them absolutely love it here. The sprinkles on their pancakes always have the little one begging to come back, and it's a demand I happily say yes to. Jays is actually so kid friendly that my youngest doesn't like breakfast at any other restaurants as their kid menus just don't meet her standards. Unfortunately one of my littles has celiacs so this place is not an option for her as the menu here does not cater to food sensitivities. So if you have restrictions, I would call before hand just to double check! I love this place and I hope they stick around for years and years to come. Because not everything is about impeccable food, the atmosphere and wait staff also make a huge difference to the overall dining experience and Jay's Cafe is a perfect example of that! (Although I've never left my plate empty ha!)"
